Harry Solomon
Program Director
SGT, Inc.
Mr. Solomon has over 33 years of experience in support of aerospace and NASA programs.
He began his career with Westinghouse Defense and Electronic Systems Center in Baltimore (now Northrop Grumman), and held subsequent positions with RCA, Bendix Field Engineering Corp, AlliedSignal Aerospace and Computer Sciences Corporation. In 1996, he joined SGT, Inc, of Greenbelt, Maryland, shortly after its inception.

As the Director of Engineering Support Programs at SGT, Mr. Solomon has been responsible for the development and management a number of SGT's programs over the past 12+ years. As one of the earliest employees of SGT, has been an integral part of the company's success and rapid growth. SGT now has nearly 1500 employees in various locations across the U.S., working with NASA, NOAA, the Interior Department, the Dept. of Defense and other agencies. SGT was recently ranked as the 5th largest NASA support contractor in 2008. Mr. Solomon has extensive experience in the areas of requirements analysis and definition, mission and planning and scheduling, real-time spacecraft flight operations, spacecraft subsystem analysis, ground system requirements development, systems engineering, integration and comprehensive end-to-end testing. He has had some level of involvement in nearly every NASA spacecraft launched since 1976, including engineering support to the Space Shuttle and the International Space Station. As a Certified Project Management Professional, his experience includes organizational and project management, including project planning and analysis, and risk assessment and mitigation, technical documentation development and configuration management.
In his current capacity, Mr. Solomon manages a number of SGT's programs, including support to Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc. under the NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) Mission Operations & Mission Services (MOMS) and GSFC Near Earth Network Services (NENS) Contracts, the NASA Shared Services Contract (NSSC) at Stennis Space Center, MS, and a number of smaller programs supporting ground systems development and risk & requirements management. He is responsible for systems engineering, mission operations, logistics, documentation and facilities engineering at GSFC, MD, White Sands Complex, NM, Wallops Flight Facility, VA, and the Merritt Island Tracking Station at Kennedy Space Center, FL. In addition to program management responsibilities, he is also involved in SGT's business development and marketing efforts, and as an ancillary responsibility, served as SGT's first Director of Corporate Communications.
