Anoop N. Mehta is the Vice
President and Chief Financial Officer for Science Systems and
Applications, Inc. (SSAI).
Mr.
Mehta has more than 25 years of experience in Government
contracting, accounting, finance, tax, and corporate
administration. In his current capacity, Mr. Mehta is responsible
for managing corporate finances, formulating and implementing
corporate policies, overseeing government and commercial
contracts, and preparing business and cost proposals.

Mr. Mehta is also responsible for assuring that the company’s financial and business practices are compliant with Defense Contract Audit Agency
(DCAA) as well as other regulatory agencies applicable to the industry.
Mr. Mehta joined SSAI in 1980 and during his tenure has helped the company grow from a two-person company to its current staff of 590. The company has also achieved profitability above target levels for the past 25 years. The company has never taken a debt during his 25-year career.
SSAI specializes in scientific R&D, engineering, computation, and information technology services. SSAI´s areas of expertise include support services for scientific, technical, and information engineering applications for Earth, planetary astrophysical, and environmental studies. SSAI has received numerous commendations for its high- quality support and on-time, within budget services. SSAI is headquartered in Lanham, Maryland.
Mr. Mehta has a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland, College Park and is also a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the State of Maryland. Mr. Mehta is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, Maryland Society of Accountants, and National Contract Management Association, along with many other civic organizations. Mr. Mehta also serves on the Government Contractor´s Committee for the Maryland Association of CPA´s and chaired the committee for two years. Mr. Mehta has taught classes on various topics affecting government contractors. Mr. Mehta is also Vice-Chair of the State of Maryland, Governor’s Workforce Investment Board (GWIB) Aerospace
Steering Committee. He is also a fifth degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and has been teaching martial arts and operating the karate school for the past 25 years.
